Abstract

The English text is analyzed as to the numerous citations in it. How much the referred material is integrated into the new document is in the focus of research. The writer’s semantic parameters are traced and specified, of which tree: the voice, tone, and diction are described in the publication. They reveal the truth that the outstanding person did not write the text himself, but the other writer did, having received the factual material. Considering the citation, there are five characteristics to the mentioned author’s semantic channels. They give the idea that the writer had the abridged, as to the personality traits, material at her disposal because of which the colorful and vigorous presence of the main personage as well as that of the writer was hardly achieved
