PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR CREATING SKILLS OF ENGLISH PROFESSIONAL COMMUBICATION IN STUDENTS OF HIGHER MEDICAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article deals with a group of skills necessary for specialists in the field of pharmacy to implement communicative intentions in the professional communication, defines communicative situations on which the system of exercises for development of professional English communication habits is built. To successfully run professionally oriented communication specialists in the field of pharmacy should be able to predict the process of communication with respect to the optimal type of own communication behavior to achieve the purpose of communication and build their speech according to the intended effect of communication and professional results; conduct business conversation; follow the rules of speech etiquette; communicate nonverbally. Common system of exercises creating skills for professional communication in English in pharmaceutical students consists of subsystems (lower level of exercises) according to the number of selected typical communicative situations.Each subsystem of exercises in the overall system includes group of exercises creating skills for professional communication in speaking and listening. The group of exercises consists of six sub-groups of exercises developing language skills, each of which consists of a specific set of exercises for the formation of individual skills. Important role in shaping the language skills of students are communicative tasks in the form of role-playing professionally oriented games which reflect models of real professional international contacts between specialists.Keywords: speech skills, language skills, pharmacy, lexical items, grammatical structure, selection of educational material, a system of exercises.
